Hello World!

Greetings, and welcome to Active Gauges — where your ideas meet reality.

First and foremost, thank you for visiting my new and upcoming website. This feels like the right time to introduce myself, the company, and share a bit about what I’m currently working on.

At this stage, I have a solid understanding and a clear plan for connecting LCD screens to a wide range of sensors, allowing real-time data to be monitored and displayed from most vehicle systems. I’ve already designed three complete sets of gauge faces and am actively working on the code that will bring them to life. At the same time, I’m in the process of revamping the Active Gauges website to better support what’s being built behind the scenes. On the business side, the acquisition of a DBA in my local area is nearly complete, officially establishing Active Gauges as a legal entity.

It’s important to acknowledge that this has been a long road to get here. While I’m approaching the end of the “pre-open” phase, there is still plenty of work ahead. Resisting the urge to simply open the gates has been intentional. As an autodidact, I hold myself to a high standard — the gauges I produce must not only be visually tailored to each driver, but also durable enough to survive real-world conditions.

The next steps include completing the base code for each gauge face while continuing to refine the website. From there, I plan to build a small inventory of hardware, supplies, apparel, and accessories. Once those pieces are in place, the store can officially open. And looking a bit further ahead… CANbus systems? 👀
