Lean Indicator Installation
- Find a location on the bike that you would like to mount the Lean Indicator.
- Make sure the position is perpendicular to the chassis of the bike. This will make sure that the gauge will be at 0º when you are centered.
- Attach the adhesive pad to the mount and then attach the mount to the desired location.
- Using the included gauge stand and hardware, attached the screen to mount installed in the last step.
- Trace a safe path from the indicator to the fuse box of the bike.
- Run the wire along this path.
- Using the included zip ties, secure the sire to the bike
- Find the location you wish to ground the to the chassis.
- With the length of the include Fuse Adapter in mind and the ground location, cut the wire to from the gauge to length.
- Strip back the insulation on ground (black) wire, exposing the copper wire.
- Using the Ring Terminal in the kit, crimp the terminal the ground wire coming of the gauge.
- Attach the ground (black) wire the pre-picked location, grounding the unit to the chassis of the motorcycle.
- Strip back the insulation on positive (red) wire, exposing the copper wire.
- Crimp the positive wire from the unit in the open end of the preinstalled butt connector on the Fuse Adapter included in the kit.
- Using a test find a fuse in the box that is energized only when the key is in the “On” or “Run” position.
- Pull one of these fuses, and install the Fuse Adapter in the location
- It’s to insert the original fuse from the bike into slot closet to box on the adapter. This slot is for the bikes original system.
- Insert the new fuse included in the kit into the slot further from the fuse box. This one will power the Lean Indicator.
